BEING HURT BY SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU CAN BE VERY CONFUSING   

Peterlee Women’s Refuge offers a range of free confidential services in order to support women with or without children who experience domestic abuse 

WE WILL:

• Listen and offer you support

• Access information and services on your behalf

• Arrange to meet you in order to explain our services

• Provide practical information

• Support you to move on

• Give you one to one time

• Help you to meet other women who have experienced similar situations 

Peterlee Women’s Refuge also provides one to one support for women who do not need a place in the refuge, but do need practical help and support following experience of domestic violence. This support is free and available to women living in the Peterlee; Mutron; Seaham; Wheatley Hill, Thornley; Wingate: Station Town; Trimdon Station; Sedgefield: Horden; Blackhall Rocks: Easington & Easington Colliery.

Access the service by telephone, which will put you straight to a trained worker who will immediately provide you with one to one support
